Lamentations 3:22 It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness.
Today is a new day and we have just entered into a new year. God has given us a fresh start with this day so I ask what are you going to do with your fresh start? We can’t carry the burdens of yesterday or yesteryear into this fresh start that God has given us. You’ve been given enough grace to accomplish the work He has for us to do today so don’t worry about tomorrow (Matthew 3:34 AMP), when it gets here tomorrows grace will be available. When you make your plans for today do just that, make plans without planning the outcome. You have to leave the outcome to God (Jeremiah 29:11). Our text tells us two things. The first one says that God is merciful, full of love and compassionate and they all are new every morning. The other is that He is stable and faithful. With a God like that there’s no way we can lose! Go out today and have a victorious day in Him!
